These are the commercial terms for buying a Job Shop Office subscription from Zimora Group LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("Zimora", "we", "us").

The license to use the software is in the End User License Agreement. What happens to your data is in the Privacy Policy. All three together are the whole agreement.

Job Shop Office is sold to businesses. By ordering you confirm you are buying for a business and are allowed to commit it.

What you are buying

A subscription that lets you install and use Job Shop Office on a stated number of Windows workstations, with updates and support included, for as long as the subscription is active.

What "per computer" means. The price is counted once for each Windows workstation you activate the software on. The application counts activated workstations — not people. So:

  • Anybody in your shop may use an activated workstation. You are not buying a named person, you do not buy one per employee, and a shared office machine on three shifts is one workstation, counted once.
  • You can move an activation to a replacement machine when you retire or rebuild a workstation. See section 8.
  • There is no charge per user, per file, per part or per quote.

You are buying what the software does today. Features our website calls coming soon are not part of your purchase, have no delivery date, and should not be the reason you buy. Job Shop Office is a suite of technical office tools where shop work is entered once; it is not a one-click quote tool, and the AI quote, drawing and planning tool is not in the product today.

If a feature you need matters enough to decide the purchase, email [email protected] and ask before you pay. We will tell you plainly whether it is in the build you can install. We would rather lose the sale than take money for something that is not there.

System requirements are on jobshopoffice.com. Job Shop Office runs on Windows only. Check the requirements before you buy; the trial is the safest way to find out.

The free trial

  • 30 days, full features, no credit card required to start.
  • We will not charge you at the end of a trial. A trial does not turn into a paid subscription on its own. If you want to keep using it, you buy it deliberately.
  • We will email you before the trial ends so the date does not surprise you.
  • When a trial ends without a purchase, the software stops. Everything you made during the trial stays on your computer. Nothing is deleted. If you buy later, the same work is waiting.
  • One trial per shop. If you need longer to evaluate it properly, ask us — we will usually say yes.

Price, payment and tax

  • Prices are in US dollars and are on jobshopoffice.com.
  • $49 per computer per month. Billed monthly. There is no annual plan, no discount tier and no cheaper version.
  • This $49 is our Founders price, the launch offer for the first 100 subscriptions. If yours is one of them, you keep $49 per computer per month for as long as your subscription continues without a gap. If the subscription lapses, the Founders price goes with it: a later subscription is at whatever price we publish at that time. We are not promising this price to every future customer, and we are not promising that the published price never changes.
  • The amount shown at checkout is the amount that governs. If a price on one of our other pages is ever out of date, what the checkout page showed you before you confirmed is what we charge and what we honour.
  • Payment is by card through Stripe. We never see your full card number.
  • Sales tax is added where we are required to collect it, and is shown before you confirm the order. If your shop is tax-exempt, send us your certificate at [email protected] before you buy.
  • The price you pay is the price we showed you at checkout, including tax, with nothing added afterwards. There are no setup fees, no activation fees and no per-file charges.

Price changes. We can change our prices. A change never affects a term you have already paid for, and it does not change the Founders price while your subscription continues without a gap. If a renewal will cost more, we tell you in the renewal notice described in section 5 before it charges, and you can cancel first.

Term and renewal

Your subscription runs one month at a time and renews automatically each month unless you cancel.

Before every renewal charge we email you, with the amount, the date and a link to cancel — at least 7 days before the charge. A monthly term is only about 30 days long, so that is the notice a monthly renewal gets.

If a renewal is going to cost more than the last one, because we changed the price, that notice goes out at least 30 days ahead, not 7, so you have time to cancel first.

The application also shows your renewal date.

We do this because an auto-renewal you forgot about is not a sale, it is a complaint. If a renewal charge ever surprises you, write to [email protected] and we will refund it.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, by yourself, without talking to anybody.

  • In the billing portal, linked from your receipt and from the application: Billing → Cancel subscription. It takes effect at the end of the term you have paid for.
  • Or email [email protected] and we will do it for you and confirm in writing.

What happens then:

  • You keep full use of the software until the end of the term you paid for. We do not cut you off early.
  • No further charges.
  • After the term ends, the software stops. It will not open, edit or export anything until you subscribe again.
  • Nothing is deleted or encrypted. Your files stay in your folders, on your disks. Resubscribe any time and pick up where you left off.

We will not make you phone us, sit through an offer, give a reason, or click through a screen designed to talk you out of it. If any part of our cancellation flow feels like it is fighting you, that is a defect — report it to [email protected].

Refunds

Within 30 days of your first paid charge: full refund, no reason needed. Email [email protected]. We refund to the original payment method within 5 business days.

After that window:

  • We do not refund the unused part of a term you are partway through. You keep full access until it ends, and it will not renew once you cancel.
  • If the software does not do what our documentation says it does, and we cannot fix it in a reasonable time, we will refund you pro rata whenever that happens — not just in the first 30 days. Tell us what is wrong and give us a fair chance to fix it first.
  • If we discontinue Job Shop Office, we refund the unused part of your term.
  • A renewal charge you did not expect, inside 30 days of the charge: refunded.

You do not need to argue with us about this. If you are inside a window above, say so and we pay.

Workstations and license keys

  • Your subscription covers a stated number of Windows workstations. The application enforces it.
  • You can move an activation to a replacement machine. If the application will not let you, email [email protected] and we will clear the old one — usually the same business day.
  • Need more workstations? Add them in the billing portal, or email us. Adding mid-term is pro-rated.
  • Reducing the count takes effect at your next renewal.
  • Your license key is yours and only yours. Sharing or publishing it ends the license — see section 3 of the EULA.

Support

Included with every active subscription and every trial.

  • How: email [email protected].
  • When: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm Eastern, excluding US public holidays.
  • How fast: we aim to answer within one business day. That is a target we work to, not a contractual guarantee, and we are not promising one. We are a small company and we would rather be honest about it than publish a number we cannot hold.
  • What support covers: installing the software, getting it running, understanding what a tool does, bugs, license and activation problems, and billing.
  • What it does not cover: engineering judgment about your parts, CAD training, fixing a customer's drawing for you, or checking whether a part is manufacturable. We will tell you what the software found. Deciding what to do about it is your shop's call — see section 5 of the EULA.

Service and availability

The software runs on your machines, so it does not go down when our website does. The license service and update service are online, and they can have outages. We are not promising uptime for them, and we do not need to: after a successful license check the software keeps working with no network connection at all for 10 days.

The grace period is there to carry you through a dropped internet connection, not to replace a subscription. It is far longer than any outage we expect to have.

If our license service is down long enough to actually interrupt your work, tell us and we will extend your term by the time you lost.

When the grace period does run out, the software stops until it can reach us and confirm your subscription, then goes back to normal. Nothing is deleted, and your files stay on your disks.

The legal bits

  • Disclaimers, warranties and liability limits are in section 9 of the EULA, and they apply to everything in this document too. The important one: Job Shop Office does not certify that anything is manufacturable, and every output needs a competent person to check it before you cut, buy or quote from it.
  • Governing law and where disputes go: Pennsylvania, in the courts serving Schuylkill County. Section 11 of the EULA has the detail, including the 30-day talk-to-us-first step.
  • Where we sell: businesses in the United States and Canada only.
  • Changes to these terms: we may update them. A change that materially reduces your rights is emailed to you at least 30 days before your next renewal and applies from that renewal, never retroactively and never mid-term. Cancel before the renewal if you do not accept it.
  • If these terms and the EULA disagree, these terms win on price, billing, trial, renewal, cancellation and refunds. The EULA wins on everything else.
  • Severability: if part of this is struck out, the rest stands.
  • No third-party beneficiaries: this agreement is between you and us.

What changed in 1.2 (October 23, 2026): when a trial or subscription ends, or the offline grace period runs out, the software now stops instead of staying open in read-and-export mode. Superseded versions are kept. If we change these terms, section 11 says how you are told.
